New Windows

With each new window commission, we work with the client or committee to bring their vision to light. After a concept is decided on then we pick glass. After cutting glass, sometimes we need to revisit before leading together. After the leading process is complete it is time for the cementing and finishing process. Our team is then ready for install and protective covering if needed.

Restoration/Repair

Our team of professionals are ready to tackle any historic preservation or restoration project. We have been involved in many restorations and always use the best practices and techniques to insure a high quality restoration is done. We also follow the SGAA guidelines for restoration and preservation. Our goal is to return the windows to the client with confidence they will last another lifetime for the future generations to enjoy as the original artisan intended. We have worked hand and hand with the Minnesota Historical Society on several projects. I am also a member of Preservation Alliance of Minnesota (PAM), and I am passionate for the preservation of Historic places and spaces.

Restoration Glass

At Honer Stained Glass Studio, we have developed a method of making turn of the century looking glass we call “Light Restoration”. It is perfect for your early 1900’s home as a quality replacement for cabinet doors and windows. Please see more in “Our Work”.
